I facilitate quick matching for short-term part-time jobs, addressing the needs of college students in their 20s who must juggle work and academics. Due to the recent increase in the minimum wage, finding part-time employment has become challenging. My service caters to business owners seeking short-term help and college students who, either as a last-minute need or due to unavoidable circumstances, are looking for substitute positions. We connect individuals seeking short-term jobs in real-time, addressing the current difficulties in securing part-time work.

Get short-term part-time jobs faster than anyone else
While exploring the challenges faced by many college students who unexpectedly have to take a few days off from their part-time jobs or urgently need employment, we expanded our project ideation to address the issue.
Therefore, our design question became,
"How can we provide an experience that fosters mutual support among college students currently working part-time or seeking employment?"

We followed the User-Centered Design process to explore how we could enhance the experience of college students in their pursuit of part-time employment, aligning with their preferences. Guided by user research, we generated and conceptualized various solutions. Subsequently, we conducted usability tests to evaluate our ideas and refined them based on our findings, culminating in the development of a high-fidelity interactive prototype

Identifying needs through various analyses
We conducted a comprehensive planning process for our app service, utilizing market analysis, Pest Analysis, Trend Analysis, and Competitors Analysis to glean valuable insights:

Market Analysis : We identified competitors in the realm of our service, delving into their unique characteristics.

Pest Analysis : Our focus was on understanding the opportunities and threats inherent in the current trends, particularly examining how the "DTHJ" service could influence individuals.

Trend Analysis : We gauged the broader societal sentiment surrounding part-time work, informing the establishment of criteria for our service.

Competitors Analysis : By pinpointing services akin to "DTHJ" and dissecting their features, we strategically oriented "DTHJ."
Through these analyses, we discerned that challenges related to part-time employment are widespread in society, with a significant impact on individuals in their 20s. Furthermore, we identified a gap in the market, specifically for a service catering to part-time job alternatives, emphasizing the necessity for a platform enabling individuals to engage in part-time work with a relatively lower level of specialization.
